Why softball benches are important for players?

Let's face it: as a softball player, you 're going to be on the bench at one point or another. What you do about this experience will tell you more about life than all the minutes you play together. Coach Corey is a true believer that waiting and planning for the day on the bench is one of the most valuable qualities you will need to learn as a young player.

  • When you find yourself in a more supporting team role than becoming a celebrity, take advantage of the chance to develop as a person. You'll learn to be emotionally tougher when resolving the case, however challenging you might have been, and eventually you'll come to understand that you're good. That's because you love the game.

  • Work better than the guy who's starting out. To order to show and boost your interest, be the person you will ever be. When you leave everything in court or field after any game, you will know the joy of being part of the squad even though you don't start.

  • Be the best cheerleader on the bench. Make it your job to see that your team is motivated and that all players have their heads in the game. The way you support your team will make you an increasingly important part of the team, even if you don't play.

  • You 're going to know how to be polite. Not everyone is coming to you every day, only because you like it. You might need to increase your training, your attitude, your strength. Continuing to work hard on your deficits over time will eventually pay off, but it might take time.

  • Just like the time on the softball field bench to watch the game. You've got a front row seat, so take advantage of that! Strategy and gaming is a very necessary aspect of becoming a professional competitor. You'll discover facets of the game you've never learned by paying attention to how your team plays, the tactic the other side employs, and what changes can be made to make your competitor more effective. Don't Underestimate
